About Us

I am a wife, stay at home mom, and thrifter, who has been using what I have on hand for a long time.

I am an artist, maker, & creative.

I’ve always blamed limited means, for making me think outside the box with the materials and supplies I had on hand. There was already something inside that pushed me to make stuff.

I typically say ‘we’ when I talk about FoundNMade, but it’s just me, right now.

I love Jesus and have a heart for restoration and new life.

FoundNMade started on my kitchen table, with the most basic sewing knowledge, when I wanted the newest trends for my youngest son.  I couldn’t afford to support other mom makers or the local, chic, baby boutique, and Target hadn’t caught up yet.   Thrifted and yard sale tees became my materials, with Pinterest pant & shoe tutorials as my guide.

I am constantly challenged in using existing resources, creating current or new fashions.

My journey started with not buying new things, then led to an education about where thrift store clothes go, the eco-destruction of typical retail, and prevalence of sweat shop clothing created in oppression. Repurposing is not just a cool eco trend, but a way to save the world, one item at a time.  I have learned so much about sewing, trends, fast fashion and more, since starting and want to always be open to learn more.  Economic and eco-conscious reasons started this.

The restorative results are the goal.

Now, I share this with you.

Truly one of a kind clothes & accessories that give new life to the abandoned.

Thank You for joining me in my fight & helping me support my family

We are new treasures, handmade from reclaimed & found materials.
